What FinKit is
FinKit is a small collection of finance tools: an invoice and quote generator that prints to PDF, and calculators for loans and mortgages, savings and compound interest, percentages, discounts, margin and markup, and adding or removing a tax rate. Every tool is free, needs no account and works on any modern browser.
How it works
Everything happens in your browser. The invoice you write is kept in your own browser storage and can be saved as a file; the PDF is produced by your browser's print dialog, not by a server. The calculators are arithmetic running on your device. Nothing you type reaches us, which matters when the numbers are your clients, your prices or your salary.
How the country tax rules are kept honest
Tax rules change every year and differ per region, and a calculator with a stale rate table is worse than none. So the country tools carry their rules in one dated table: every result prints the tax year, the date the table was last checked and a link to the official source, and the everyday calculators still use only the rate you type. The country tools cover the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands, they apply the statutory scale and the ordinary allowance and nothing personal to you, and they are estimates. FinKit gives no tax, legal or financial advice.
Why it's free
The site is supported by ads. Because the work happens on your device there are no servers to pay for, which is what keeps every tool free without limits, watermarks or paid tiers.
